Service Agreement
Personal chef services will be provided by the terms in this contract. Either party can terminate services at any time in accordance with the provisions provided below.
Your Signature Chef LLC chef and owner (“Chef Nicole”) will collaborate with the client on a custom designed menu outline. This outline will provide the basis for Chef Nicole to develop weekly proposals. Proposals must be confirmed no later than 48 hours prior to your cook date so modifications can be made. Failure to confirm may result in missing ingredients, changed meals, or your cook date being delayed or canceled with a cancellation fee. Confirmed proposals are subject to change due to availability or quality of ingredients and other unforeseeable factors.
Chef Nicole will arrive at your home at the scheduled time. The chef will need exclusive access to the kitchen area for 3-6 hours. Please make sure your home will be accessible on your cook day. If the chef is unable to access the space at the scheduled time, you will be responsible for a late cancellation fee in addition to cost of groceries. If the kitchen is not up to health code standards on your cook day (no running water, no power, etc…) Chef Nicole will be unable to prepare your menu proposal. If advance notice was not given, a late cancellation fee will be charged and you will be responsible for cost of groceries.
In the event you need to cancel your cook date, please provide no less than 5 days notice. Failure to provide 5 days notice will result in a late cancellation fee of 50% of your day’s service fee. Your Signature Chef LLC is aware that not everything can be planned for; if necessary Chef Nicole will attempt to work with the client in the event of certain circumstances. Excessive cancellations may result in denial of future service.
Chef Nicole takes pride in her work and will respect your home, your equipment, and you. The chef will leave the work area clean and clear of the day’s mess. All remaining groceries will be stored properly and any personal equipment will be removed. Please make sure the area is clean and ready for Chef Nicole at the scheduled time of arrival. If the kitchen area is unsuitable to work in, photos will be taken as documentation and a $50 cleaning fee will be added to the invoice for that date.
Chef Nicole will provide suggested heating and serving instructions for each dish or food item. These are estimations only in time and temperature due to types of heating vessels, inconsistent oven temperatures, etc… Your Signature Chef LLC will not be liable for improper heating, storing, or disposal of past meals resulting in sickness. All items will be stored properly, with safe heating instructions provided, by Chef Nicole before she leaves your home. Failure to maintain the proper storage or safe heating of food is not the fault of Chef Nicole or Your Signature Chef LLC.
Payment methods accepted are: cash, check, credit/debit card*. Invoices must be paid in full no later than 14 days after the date of service. Failure to do so will result in a 10% late fee being added to the outstanding invoice. Checks or credit/debit cards preferred. Your Signature Chef LLC does not accept Venmo, Paypal, etc… at this time.
*All card sales processed through Square, 2.6% processing fee will be included.
